*Film Kerala Story made to defame Muslims in India*

After the controversial film, The Kashmir Files, another film ‘The Kerala Story’ has been made to defame Muslims in India and around the globe .

The movie written and directed by Sudipto Sen will be released in theaters across India in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages.

The purpose of the film is to spread hatred against Muslims around the world.

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, who is affiliated to the Communist Party of India (Marxist), vehemently criticized the makers of the controversial film, saying that they are trying to create unrest in the state by raising the issue of so-called Love Jihad. He said that the film was made with the aim of spreading communal hatred and propaganda in the state.

He accused the Sangh Parivar of trying to destroy religious harmony in the state by sowing poisonous seeds of communalism. Describing the film as a fabrication, he said it was stated in the film that 32 thousand women were converted in Kerala. He said that this false story is a product of the factory of lies of the Sangh Parivar.

*بھارت : مسلمانوں کو بدنام کرنے کے لیے ایک اور فلم تیار کر لی گئی*

بھارت میں دی کشمیر فائلز کے بعد مسلمانوں کو بدنام کرنے کیلئے ایک اور فلم ’دی کیرالہ سٹوری‘ بنا لی گئی ہے۔ فلم کو ہندی ، تلگو ، تامل اور ملیالم زبانوں میں بھارت بھر کے سینما گھروں میں ریلیز کیا جائے گا۔ کو فلم کا مقصد ن دنیا بھر کے مسلمانوں کے خلاف نفرت پھیلانا ہے۔
خبررساں ادارے کے مطابق کمیونسٹ پارٹی آف انڈیا (مارکسسٹ) سے وابستہ کیرالہ کے وزیر اعلی پنارائی وجین Pinarayi Vijayan نے متنازعہ فلم دی کیرالہ سٹوری بنانے والوں پر سخت تنقید کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ نام نہاد لو جہاد کا مسئلہ اٹھا کر ریاست میں بدامنی پیدا کرنے کی کوشش کی جا رہی ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ یہ فلم فرقہ وارانہ منافرت اور ریاست میں نفرت انگیز پروپیگنڈہ پھیلانے کے مقصد کے تحت بنائی گئی ہے۔
انہوں نے سنگھ پریوار پر الزام لگایا کہ وہ فرقہ پرستی کے زہریلے بیج بو کر ریاست میں مذہبی ہم آہنگی کو تباہ کرنے کی کوشش کر رہا ہے۔ انہوں نے فلم کو من گھڑت قرار دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ فلم میں بتایا گیا کہ کیرالہ میں 32 ہزار خواتین کا مذہب تبدیل کرایا گیا ۔ اُنہوں نے کہا کہ یہ جھوٹی کہانی سنگھ پریوار کی جھوٹ پر مبنی فیکٹری کی پیداوار ہے۔

*Hindutva BJP govt demolishes 2 century-old Muslim scholar’s dargah in Delhi*

*New Delhi, April 30*

The Hindutva Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government demolished two centuries old dargah (shrine) of a Muslim religious scholar, popularly known as Nanhe Mian Chishti Dargah, in New Delhi.

The dargah was demolished by the authorities without any notice served or any information conveyed to the caretaker of the shrine at Mandi House in the heart of the capital.

The dargah, located at the end corner of the Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts, is the grave of Syed Nanhe Miyan Chishti (Little Gentleman), a spiritual figure. The shrine had been a common visiting site for many, irrespective of their faith.

Interestingly, Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), and Delhi Police all deny any responsibility for sanctioning the demolition.

One of the caretakers of the shrine, Akbar Ali, was quoted by the media as saying that no notices were served before authorities removed the structure.

He added that in the absence of concrete information regarding the extreme step, it seemed that the authorities were against Muslim religious personalities and their mazars and dargahs. “Maybe it is because we are Muslims and they think we are their enemies,” he said.

“Earlier on August 2, 2022, they had come and removed the tiles and the boundary wall, and so on without any reason. Next on April 26 this year, they suddenly arrived and removed everything,” said Akbar Ali.

Early in the morning when the street vendors started installing their stalls in and around the shrine as usual, they noticed that the grave was not there. Indian paramilitary forces were deployed there so that no one could assemble around the demolished shrine in protest.

Anwar Ali, another caretaker, who has looked after the site for the last 45 years, said the shrine was at least 250 years old. Both the caretakers also produced papers showing proof of land tax having been paid since the 1970s.

بھارتیہ جنتا پارٹی کی ہندوتوا حکومت نے نئی دہلی میں ایک مسلمان عالم دین کی دو صدی پرانی درگاہ کو جسے ننھے میاں چشتی درگاہ کے نام سے جانا جاتا ہے، منہدم کردیا ہے ۔
حکام نے دارالحکومت کے وسط میں واقع منڈی ہائوس میں درگاہ کے نگران کو کوئی اطلاع دیے بغیر درگاہ کو مسمار کر دیا۔ شری رام سینٹر فار پرفارمنگ آرٹس کے آخری کونے پر واقع درگاہ ایک روحانی شخصیت سید ننھے میاں چشتی کی قبر ہے۔ یہ درگاہ قطع نظر مذہب بہت سے لوگوں کے لیے ایک عام سیاحتی مقام رہا ہے۔ دلچسپ بات یہ ہے کہ آرکیالوجیکل سروے آف انڈیا ، نئی دہلی میونسپل کونسل اور دہلی پولیس سمیت تمام ادارے انہدام کی منظوری دینے سے انکار ی ہیں۔ مزار کے ایک نگراں اکبر علی نے صحافیوں کو بتایا کہ حکام کی جانب سے درگاہ کو گرانے سے قبل کوئی نوٹس نہیں دیا گیا ۔ اُنہوں نے کہا کہ انتہائی اقدام کے حوالے سے ٹھوس معلومات کی عدم موجودگی میں ایسا لگتا ہے کہ حکام مسلم مذہبی شخصیات اور ان کے مزارات اور درگاہوں کے خلاف ہیں۔شاید اس کی وجہ یہ ہے کہ ہم مسلمان ہیں اور وہ سمجھتے ہیں کہ ہم ان کے دشمن ہیں۔اکبر علی نے کہاکہ اس سے پہلے 2 اگست 2022ء کو وہ آئے اور بغیر کسی وجہ کے ٹائلیں اور بائونڈری وال وغیرہ ہٹا دیے۔ اس کے بعد رواں سال 26 اپریل کو وہ اچانک پہنچے اور سب کچھ ہٹا دیا۔ صبح سویرے جب دکانداروں نے معمول کے مطابق مزار کے اندر اور اردگرد اپنے سٹال لگانا شروع کیے تو انہوں نے دیکھا کہ قبر وہاں موجود ہی نہیں ہے۔ بھارتی پیراملٹری فورسز وہاں تعینات کیے گئے تھے تاکہ کوئی احتجاج نہ کر سکے۔ ایک اور نگراں انور علی نے جو پچھلے 45 سال سے اس جگہ کی دیکھ بھال کر رہے ہیں ، کہا کہ مزار کم از کم 250 سال پرانا ہے۔ دونوں نگہبانوں نے کاغذات بھی پیش کیے جن میں اراضی ٹیکس 1970ء کی دہائی سے ادا کیے جانے کا ثبوت ہے۔

*India’s ANI, NDTV say their Twitter accounts were suspended*

*New Delhi, April 30*

Indian broadcaster New Delhi Television (NDTV) and the Asian News International (ANI) news agency both said their main Twitter accounts had been locked, without specifying a reason for the suspensions.

Searches on Twitter for NDTV’s English service account @NDTV and the @ANI handle both produced the message “This account doesn’t exist. Try searching for another.” Their other accounts appeared to be functional.

ANI editor Smita Prakash tweeted a screenshot of the news agency’s handle being locked, with the message from Twitter stating the account “did not meet the age requirements” to be on the platform and would be removed.

NDTV’s other account @ndtvindia tweeted their main handle had been blocked, tagging Twitter CEO Elon Musk’s official handle, asking for the suspended account to be restored.
