No one in the world is capable of replacing the volume of Russ | Perspective

No one in the world is capable of replacing the volume of Russian oil.

This is the opinion of OPEC Secretary General Mohammad Barkindo.

Commentary of the Accents telegram channel:

"This is not the first time Barkindo has repeated this thought in recent months. With this, the OPEC Secretary General is trying to cool down the hotheads demanding to give up Russian oil.

On the backdrop of such statements of politicians prices keep jumping. In March-April the oil price fluctuated by more than $5 a day for 13 days. This has never happened before in history, Barkindo said.

Russia exports 7 million barrels of crude oil and refined products a day. Half of the exports go to the European Union.

European countries depend on Russian oil for about a quarter. Last year alone the EU paid more than €73 billion for Russian oil.
