And what my concern at the moment is that it's good to take people from war-torn Ukraine, but we should not be accepting people from other countries who have settled there for two or three months, and they've a better offer here in Ireland."

2022-05-25 13:52:34 Turkish holiday terror after alleged abduction attempt of toddler.

An Irish couple were involved in a harrowing experience at the Club Aqua Plaza resort near the city of Antalya in Turkey where there was an alleged attempt to abduct the 2-year-old daughter of an English couple they were socialising with.

The couples were chatting at the bar of the resort when two Turkish men appeared out of nowhere, started acting aggressively and then assaulted members of their party while a third man put a towel over the head of the 2-year-old while they were distracted.

The men were let go and the hotel didn't file a police report. It was the one of the Irish couple's daughters who had called them.

It the clip above from the Livelive segment on the incident, the English father explains why he believes his daughter was targeted.

A similar incident occurred near the same city in 2018, but at a different hotel. Both girls were blonde & blue eyed.
