आज माननीय मुख्यमंत्री श्री अशोक गहलोत जी से उनके निवास स्थल पर लगभग 40 मिनिट तक शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य व विकास सहित कई मु्दों पर सार्थक चर्चा हुई।मैंने मुख्यमंत्री जी को भारत में वर्चुअल स्कूल की मान्यता देने वाले प्रथम राज्य बनने पर बधाई दी।इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री जी से आग्रह भी किया कि अधीनस्थ सेवा बोर्ड व लोक सेवा आयोग की विभिन्न भर्तियों की विज्ञप्ति समय पर जारी कर युवाओं को सौगात प्रदान करें।इसके साथ ही मुख्यमंत्री अनुप्रति कोचिंग योजना द्वारा ज़रूरतमंद विद्यार्थियों को निःशुल्क कोचिंग देने के लिए आभार भी व्यक्त किया।

❖ Upendranath Bandyopadhyay was born on June 6, 1879 in Chandan Nagar (Chander Nagar).
❖ Upendranath Bandyopadhyay's father Ramnath Banerjee was Vaishnava and mother was Shakta.
❖ Upendra Babu passed the entrance from Dupleix College after completing his primary education in Chandan Nagar.
❖ From 1898 to 1903, he studied medicine at the Medical College of Calcutta (modern Kolkata).
❖ Upendranath Bandyopadhyay wrote a book named 'Bhavani Mandir' in 1905, in which he urged the people to worship Kali, the goddess of power, for the independence of the country.
❖ Upendranath ji wrote in it that only brahmachari youths should move forward in this work, who remain unmarried and service like tyagi sannyasis and get married after completion of the work (after independence).
❖ He met Barindra Kumar Ghosh and other top leaders of the group and accepted the job of editing Yugantar and Vande Mataram and joined the Maniktala Garden House group.
❖ On May 2, 1908, he was arrested along with Barindra Kumar Ghosh and others from Maniktala Garden House in connection with the Muzaffarpur Bomb blast. Four days later, the special tribunal sentenced him to stay in the Andaman Islands for life, which the High Court upheld in its appellate order (23 November 1909).

❖ Narayan Malhar Joshi, popularly known as Nana Saheb Joshi, was born on 5 June 1879 in Goregaon, Colaba district of Maharashtra.
❖ Became a member of 'Bharat Sevak Samaj' in the year 1909 and remained associated with it for many years.
❖ He was closely associated with organizations like 'Bombay Social Service League', 'Released Pension and Society', 'Legal Society', 'Bombay Presidency Social Reform Association', 'Indian Trade Union Congress' and 'Civil Liberties Union'. .
❖ He founded the 'All India Trade Union Congress' in the year 1920 and remained its secretary till the year 1929.
❖ Due to the influence of communists in Congress, he left Congress and formed a new organization called 'Trade Union Federation'.
❖ He was also an elected member of the Central Legislative Assembly, Delhi.
❖ The most important contribution of N.M. Joshi was to fight for labour welfare and labour interests.
❖ MM Joshi continued to lead the moderate section in the 'All India Trade Union Congress' for a long time.
❖ Narayan Malhar Joshi was also a member of the 'Central Pay Commission' in 1947 AD. He also took interest in social service and established many hospitals for women and children.
❖ He had also established schools for industrial training.

❖ World Environment Day is celebrated every year on 5th June to encourage worldwide awareness and action to protect the environment.
❖ This program was started in the year 1972 to spread awareness about the bad environmental conditions and its increasing side effects.
❖ Currently it has become a global platform to discuss the problem of pollution and is organized in more than 100 countries.
❖ The theme of Environment Day for the year 2023 is "Solutions to Plastic Pollution" and its global host is Cote d‘Ivoire (Ivory Coast).
❖ In the year 2018, India hosted the international event of World Environment Day with the theme “Beat Plastic Pollution”.
❖ The Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 defines air pollutant as any solid, liquid or gaseous substance present in the atmosphere, which may be harmful to humans or other living beings or plants or property or environment.
❖ Air Pollution is responsible for a quarter of all deaths due to heart attacks and a third of all deaths due to stroke, respiratory diseases, lung cancer.
❖ Around 92 percent of people around the world are forced to breathe polluted air. The Expenditure on health due to air pollution puts a burden of $5 trillion on the global economy.
❖ Due to Ground-level ozone pollution crop yields are expected to decrease by about 26 percent by the year 2030.
❖ India drafted and launched the National Clear Air Program-NCAP, which aims at prevention, control and abatement of air pollution besides enhancing air quality monitoring network.
❖ Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 established the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) at the apex level and State Pollution Control Board (SPCB) at the state level to control the improvement in air quality and a provision has been made to advise the government on any matter related to eradication of Air Pollution.
