I am sure, you all know to tell about the basic things about yourself but today I am going to show you how to create a sentence in order to talk about yourself 
මට විශ්වාසයි, ඔබ සියල්ලන්ම ඔබ ගැන මූලික කරුණු ගැන පැවසීමට දන්නා නමුත් අද මම ඔබට පෙන්වීමට යන්නේ ඔබ ගැන කතා කිරීම සඳහා වාක්‍යයක් නිර්මාණය කරන්නේ කෙසේද යන්නයි

Lets start!

1). Subject+ Am+ Adjective (නාමවිශේෂණය) 
           I + am + Adjective 

Examples:

I am Elina             
I am 24 years old   
I am busy             
I am late               
I am happy
I am sad
I am scared

මම එලීනා
මම වයස අවුරුදු 24
මම කාර්ය බහුලයි
මම පරක්කුයි
මම සතුටින්
මම කණගාටුවෙන්
මට බයයි

So you see it is very easy to describe about yourself. You just need to understand how to make the sentence. Do not MEMORISE everything and then speak out. Just remember the pattern of the sentence 
එබැවින් ඔබ ගැන විස්තර කිරීම ඉතා පහසු බව ඔබට පෙනේ. වාක්‍යය සාදා ගන්නේ කෙසේද යන්න ඔබ තේරුම් ගත යුතුය. සෑම දෙයක්ම මතක තබා නොගෙන කතා කරන්න. වාක්‍යයේ රටාව මතක තබා ගන්න

2). Subject+ am+ verb(ing)

      I + am + Verb(ing)

If you want to tell what your are doing, this is how you make the sentence. Lets look at few examples 

ඔබ කරන්නේ කුමක්දැයි ඔබට පැවසීමට අවශ්‍ය නම්, ඔබ වාක්‍යය සකසන ආකාරය මෙයයි. උදාහරණ කිහිපයක් බලමු
Examples:

I am cooking

I am singing

I am talking

I am dancing

I am studying

You can also describe your verb more by adding an object to the sentence 

I + am + verb(ing) + Object 
Examples:
I am going to work
I am taking a break
I am having lunch
I am playing cricket 
I am going home
I am watching T.V

3). Subject+ am+ verb(ing)+ object + time 
      
  I + am+ verb(ing) + object+ time

If you want to tell at what time you are going to do something, you can follow this pattern.
ඔබ යමක් කිරීමට යන්නේ කුමන වේලාවකදැයි ඔබට පැවසීමට අවශ්‍ය නම්, ඔබට මෙම රටාව අනුගමනය කළ හැකිය.

Examples:
I am cooking in the evening 
I am going out at night 
I am eating lunch now
I am studying English now
I am going to work tomorrow
I am going to cook now 

උදාහරණ:
මම හවස් වරුවේ උයනවා
මම රෑට එළියට යනවා
මම දැන් දිවා ආහාරය කනවා
මම දැන් ඉංග්‍රීසි ඉගෙන ගන්නවා
මම හෙට වැඩට යනවා
මම දැන් උයන්න යනවා

• ‎සමූහය තුල අනෙක් සියළුම සාමාජිකයන්ගේ ගෞරවය හා පෞද්ගලිකත්වය රැකෙන ලෙස කටයුතු කරන්න.

A slave, ill-treated by his master, runs away to the forest. There he comes across a lion in pain because of a thorn in his paw. The slave bravely goes forward and removes the thorn gently.

The lion without hurting him goes away.

Some days later, the slave’s master comes hunting to the forest and catches many animals and cages them. The slave is spotted by the masters’ men who catch him and bring him to the cruel master.

The master asks for the slave to be thrown into the lion’s cage.

The slave is awaiting his death in the cage when he realizes that it is the same lion that he had helped. The slave rescued the lion and all other caged animals.


Moral of the story:
One should help others in need, we get the rewards of our helpful acts in return.
