2023-04-05 18:47:27 POWER OF CHARTS READING - Exactly a week ago, when BankNifty was around 39600, I had mentioned that in a few trading sessions we would see 40900, and today just happened to be that day. As clearly mentioned, we would just see a 1,000-point move.

Today BankNifty closed at 40999, and based on the daily timeframe, we are looking at a trend line from December that should probably break, and if we see 41200 crossed, then we can expect 42000 very soon.

BUT, tomorrow is also the RBI announcement, so play with caution as this breakout can fail too, thereby making tomorrow an important day. We will see if this Trendline will break or market will again get rejected as it happened last 4 times in 4 months. ओपन / कमेंट

2023-04-05 11:57:39 The Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) two-day monetary policy (MPC) meeting is underway and Governor Shaktikanta Das will announce the policy decisions tomorrow (April 6).

Most economists said that they expect the Indian central bank to continue its fight against inflation and follow the US Federal Reserve globally by hiking the lending rate by 25 basis points.

The Global Markets's upmove has halted and we should see the same 40800-40900 zone as a resistance for now, if that's crossed then I shall plan fresh longs, while I might go Short below 40500 zone, till then might see just a sideways market. Though it was nice to see a 1000-point upmove from the last expiry.
