These rules shall apply to all persons who generate, collect, receive, store, transport, treat, dispose, or handle bio medical waste in any form.
Every State Government or Union territory Administration shall constitute an Advisory Committee for the respective State or Union territory to oversee the implementation of the rules.
Occupier has a duty to Pre-treat the laboratory waste, microbiological waste, blood samples etc and Not to give treated bio-medical waste with municipal solid waste.
