5G takes care of security from beginning with strong encryption standards but whether telecommunication firms will adopt the standards depends on the investments they can afford
Security Related Concerns -
it will inherit vulnerabilities of past as 5G will be built on existing 4G infrastructure the more the devices are connected to the internet increase the scope of cyber attacks privacy concerns are bound to multiply bulk of 5G network components are imported from China
What can be done -
collaborative arrangement between the government ,academia and businesses is the need of hour telecom companies can be invited to test their infrastructure and ethical hackers can be invited to unleash their skills reward mechanism can be linked to security standards publish advisories for the end users
