(TPCODL), a joint venture of Tata Power and the Government of Odisha, recently has taken significant measures to reduce power tripping in the state. To reduce the tripping, TPCODL had taken a slew of measures that resulted in bringing down the total interruptions by almost 47%.

2021-09-02 15:17:47 TP Saurya Limited (TPSL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Power, has received a “Letter of Award” (LoA) from Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited (RUMSL) to build 330 MW (Unit-1:160 MW + Unit-2:170 MW) of Solar Project in Neemuch Solar Park of Madhya Pradesh.

The energy will be supplied to the Indian Railways and the Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited under Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) valid for a period of 25 years. The company has won this capacity in a bid finalised through reverse auction by RUMSL.

2021-08-24 13:22:33 Tata Power Renewable Energy announced the commissioning of a 150 MW Solar Project spread across 756 acres of land in Village Loharki, Rajasthan.

The plant is expected to generate upwards of 350 million units annually and is projected to reduce 3.34 lakh tons of carbon emission every year. Read more:
