2022-07-08 16:10:36 “Distribution Licensees in Mumbai will start levying FAC charges in the electricity bill as per the rates approved by the MERC.

According to the new slabs, majority of Tata Power consumers in Mumbai will still draw cheaper tariff in comparison to the other Discom barring select categories which amounts to relatively small consumer base.

Tata Power is taking adequate measures to effectively dilute accumulated FAC amount and is working towards optimizing the power purchase cost.

The Company is committed to provide best of services to its consumers at the competitive tariff.”

2022-04-14 17:33:51 Tata Power and BlackRock Real Assets-led consortium, including Mubadala Investment Company, have entered into a binding agreement to invest in Tata Power’s renewable energy subsidiary, Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited.

BlackRock Real Assets, together with Mubadala, shall invest Rs 4,000 crore by way of equity / compulsorily convertible instruments.

This newly created platform will consist of five distinct businesses delivering long-term, customer oriented solutions. It will house all renewable energy businesses of Tata Power including those in: Utility Scale Solar, Wind & Hybrid Generation assets; Solar Cell & Module Manufacturing; Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracting; Rooftop Solar infrastructure; Solar Pumps and Electric Vehicle Charging infrastructure.
