What is NSSO?राष्ट्रीय नमूना सर्वेक्षण संगठन:यह भारत सरकार के सांख्यिकी मंत्रालय के अधीन संगठन है।
NSSO सामाजिक आर्थिक सर्वेक्षण करता है, उद्योगों के वार्षिक सर्वेक्षण के लिए कार्य क्षेत्र और आर्थिक जनगणना के अनुवर्ती सर्वेक्षण करता है।
एक महानिदेशक की अध्यक्षता में राष्ट्रीय नमूना सर्वेक्षण (NSS) अखिल भारतीय आधार पर विविध क्षेत्रों में बड़े पैमाने पर नमूना सर्वेक्षण करने के लिए जिम्मेदार है।
मुख्य रूप से विभिन्न सामाजिक-आर्थिक विषयों, उद्योगों के वार्षिक सर्वेक्षण (ASI), आदि पर राष्ट्रीय घरेलू सर्वेक्षणों के माध्यम से आंकड़े एकत्र किया जाता है।
इन सर्वेक्षणों के अलावा, एनएसएस ग्रामीण और शहरी कीमतों पर आंकड़े एकत्र करता है और राज्य संस्थाओं के क्षेत्र गणना और फसल आकलन सर्वेक्षणों के पर्यवेक्षण के माध्यम से फसल के आंकड़ों के सुधार में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाता है।
यह शहरी क्षेत्रों में नमूना सर्वेक्षण में उपयोग के लिए शहरी क्षेत्र की इकाइयों का एक ढाँचा भी रखता है।
National Sample Survey Organisation:
It is an organization under the Ministry of Statistics, Government of India.
The National Sample Survey Organization (NSSO) conducts the Socio Economic Survey, the Work Sector for the Annual Survey of Industries and the follow-up survey to the Economic Census.
The National Sample Survey (NSS) headed by a Director General is responsible for conducting large scale sample surveys in diverse areas on an all India basis.
Data is mainly collected through national household surveys on various socio-economic subjects, Annual Survey of Industries (ASI), etc.
In addition to these surveys, the NSS collects data on rural and urban prices and plays an important role in improving crop statistics through supervision of area enumeration and crop estimation surveys of state institutions.
It also maintains a framework of urban area units for use in sample surveys in urban areas.
