Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta (Chapter 03, Shlok 04)

न कर्मणामनारम्भान्नैष्कर्म्यं पुरुषोऽश्नुते।
न च संन्यसनादेव सिद्धिं समधिगच्छति॥ 3.04॥

na karmaṇāmanāraṃbhānnaiṣkarmyaṃ puruṣō'śnutē, na ca sannyasanādēva siddhiṃ samadhigacchati ॥

Meaning : Not by merely abstaining from work can one achieve freedom from reaction, nor by renunciation alone can one attain perfection.

2021-06-13 05:11:00 Hanuman Ji photographed alive.
(The story from 1998, India)

Year 1998, Mandya Karnataka, Senior Photographer Subramanya was resting in his home when suddenly a stranger came into his house and asked him for a help!! He was so tensed. Stranger handed a camera roll to subramanya and told something which shocked him!

Stranger said he and his friends along with his son went to Mansarovar for some secret mission. They were resting near a cave and suddenly they saw an intense amount of light coming out of cave. It was as bright as sun and it was almost impossible to look that light clearly with their naked eyes!!

Stranger further added that out of curiosity his son started running into the cave with his camera, everyone tried to stop him but he didn’t stopped. He entered into the cave and after few seconds that light disappeared!! Everyone ran into the cave to see if his son was okay.

But they were shocked to see that his son was mysteriously dead inside the cave!! May be he couldn't bear the intensity of the light or the energy inside the cave. But now the cave was normal, and only proof to see what was inside the cave was that camera. And that stranger wanted Subramanya to develop the photo from that camera roll.

Stranger said he will return after some days to take that photo. Subramanya thought he need any expert to develop this photo as it was quite damaged! So Subramanya called his friend Mr. Panni who was owner of Kaveri Colour Lab, Mandya Karnataka.

They both started developing the photo from camera roll! It was quite hard to develop the photo because the image contained extreme brightness! But when they successfully developed the photo thev both were shocked!!

Image was very reddish and blurry but one can clearly see the image of a monkey like figure with tail reading some sanskrit texts. They both were shocked to see this, Mr Panni developed six photos of that image.

One for himself and Five other copies for Subramanya. This time Subramanya also decided that when that stranger comes again to take the photos, he will ask him for his identity and also scold him if this was any silly prank. After few days that stranger came back!!

Stranger revealed that his name was Suryanarayana Shashtri and he was from Bangalore. And this was not any prank, he showed the pic of his dead son and started crying. He also kept one copy of that mysterious image and said that he did a mistake by challenging the unknown energy/deity.

Subramanya contacted media and told the whole story. Thus this image and story became viral in 1998. Suryanarayana Shashtri was never found again, but one day search team found his wife in Bangalore who revealed that Suryanarayana Shashtri is dead and mysteriously his wife also went missing after few days!! And she was never found again!

Shani Jayanti (2021)

Shani Jayanti is marked as birth anniversary of Shani dev. Shani Jayanti is also known as Shani Amavasya. Lord Shani is son of Surya dev and rules planet Saturn and weekday Saturday.

Shani Jayanti coincides with Vat Savitri vrat. On Shani Jayanti devotees keep fast or Upvaas to propitiate Shani dev and visit Shani temples to seek blessing of Shani dev. It is said that Shani dev believes in fair justice and if appeased blesses His devotee with good luck & fortune. People, who do not have blessing of Shani dev, toil for years without getting any reward for their hard work in life.

Shani Jayanti is very appropriate day to perform Hawan, Homam and Yagya to appease Lord Shani. Shani Tailabhishekam and Shani Shanti Puja are the most important ceremonies performed during Shani Jayanti. Above ceremonies are performed to lessen the effect of Shani Dosha, which is popularly known as Sade Sati.

Shani Jayanti is also known as Shanishchara Jayanti & Sani Jayanthi.

Vat Savitri Vrat (2021)

Most of the festivals in Amanta & Purnimanta lunar calendar fall on the same day. Purnimanta calendar is followed in North Indian states, mainly in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Punjab & Haryana. In rest of the states usually Amanta lunar calendar is followed.

However in, Purnimanta calendar Vat Savitri Vrat is observed during Jyeshtha Amavasya which coincides with Shani Jayanti. In Amanta calendar Vat Savitri Vrat, which is also called as Vat Purnima Vrat, is observed during Jyeshtha Purnima.

Hence married women in Maharashtra, Gujarat and southern Indian states observe Vat Savitri Vrat 15 days later than that of North Indian women. However the history behind observing the fast is same in both calendars.

According to history great Savitri tricked Lord Yama, the lord of death, and compelled Him to return the life of her husband Satyawan. Hence Married women observe Vat Savitri Vrat for well-being & long life of their husband.
