To mark the importance of this day, the Government of India is paying tribute to the services of seafarers by observing National Maritime Week from March 30, 2023 to April 05, 2023.
On the occasion of National Maritime Day, the Government of India is paying tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of seafarers who laid down their lives at sea during World War I and II.
