हम सड़को पे इंक़लाब लिख रहे थे,
बाउजी हमे सैलाब दिखा रहे थे।
हम अपने लोगो की सांसें गीन रहे थे,
वो हमें झूठा दिलासा दे रहे थे|
सब ठीक होता बाउजी तो आपकी तरफ क्यो देख्ते,
सब सही होता तो घुट घुट के क्यो रोते ।

बाउजी आज आपके हुक्के की घुड घुड़ाहत,
हमको डराती है ।

सामने पडी है मेरी माँ बिस्तर पर,
गिन रही थी बस अपनी आखिरी सांसे।
एक ही लम्हे में वो भी गुजर गई,
उसके साथ मैंने भी दम तोड़ दिया।
इतनी लाइन मे लग के भी नही बचा पाया में उन्हें,
फिर अब उसे जलाने के लिए लकड़ी लेने की लाइन में खड़ा हु।

बाऊजी पी रहे थे हुक्का।

मेरा बेटा मर गया मेरी आंखों के सामने,
कल रात से बस ये सुन रहा था कि धैर्य रखिए।
में कैसे आग लगाऊ अपने बच्चे को,
उसकी देह के साथ मे भी जल रहा हु।

बाऊजी पी रहे थे हुक्का।

मैंने खो दिया माँ बाप को,
आज में भी शैया पर लेटा हु।
मेरी मरने की उम्र न थी,
फिर भी इस सिस्टम ने बेहरमी से मूझे मार डाला।

लेकीन बाऊजी पी रहे थे हुक्का।

बाऊजी एक दिन भी न आये आप मेरा हाथ पकडने,
एक दिन भी न आये मेरे आँसू पोछने।
आंखों में चाहे आँसू न हो,
बाऊजी दिल के आंसू थमने का नाम ही नही ले रहे।

मुझे बस आपका ही सहारा था बाऊजी,
पर बाऊजी पी रहे थे हुक्का।
