Hope you are analysing your situation.

Whatever your category may be, one thing is, you cannot neglect your Mains Preparation till atleast January.

The solution lies in your category:

1) Those who have not been able to clear Prelims till now -

Balance your Prelims and Mains. But keep it Mains-cum-Pre ( not Pre-cum-Mains).
Proportion of time given to Mains : Prelims could be 70:30 or 80:20
Don't forget - You have to be Mains heavy till January. There's no point in clearing Prelims with your Mains preparation in shambles.
Don't think it's not possible to balance both aspects. With the right strategy and guidance, it's possible to balance Mains and Prelims.

2) Those who have been able to comfortably clear Prelims.

Your 100% time and devotion should go towards your Mains Preparation.
Work on your weaknesses, and strengthen your stronger areas.
