NO , Tattoo won't stop you from being an IPS.
Only if he had talked to someone with right information.
Life is not so cheap friends. Don't throw it away because you couldn't become IAS/IPS or whatever you wanted to. Career is just a part of it. An Important part. But life is way more than that.

Someone asked how different is UPSC Interview now from the one seen in the video above.
It's quite similar in it's essence. Yes , the rooms have become quite glamorous. There's bigger rooms , with greater space between you and the members. But this is how actual interview is conducted. The room's environment is welcoming (Mostly) , they ask you a question and listen to your response patiently. They hardly cross-question. So yeah , it's very different from what you see on YouTube.
