I just want to say, few things on that
Basically i choose, IITD ka textile, kahi na kahi ki circuital branch leave ki
But I am doing coding here, not for the software developer role, but khudke startup ke liye
And cs ke jo concepts required hote h, unko sikh lete h, like dsa, nlp
Enginnering me whatever u learn there is no limit, like a mechanical guy should be able to learn electrical coursework by self study if needed
Yaha, aakar m dekh raha hu mech ke log cs ke prof ke under research intern kr rahe h, to ye dept maybe ek extent tak sahi h,
But aisa nahi h ki, if u choose mech, u should do mech sirf, explore everything, jisme interest aaye wo karo
Ab jaise hamare yaha ek startup h, botlab krke drones se related h, wo Banda jisne kiya as far as I remember wo enginnering physics ka tha, obviously usne drones pr work krne ke liye mechanical ka bhi padha honga, electrical ka bhi padha honga, programming bhi ki hongi to an extent
Pata nhi, m aapko ye lamba msg kyu likh raha hu, but future students should love engineering not some branch
Using engineering skills to solve any problem, chahe wo cs ki ho, yaa electrical ki
Few people here love the biotech branch, because they see huge potential in future in this industry
