Guys I am using POCO X3 karna (Indian Variant). I am from Bangladesh. My Camera, Speaker was also dead in 12.5.4 update. But got fixed automatically after like 1 week then again died. Which happened in November. I got nothing to do but to get a new phone or motherboard. So I waited if updated comes and get fixed, but it didn't. So I researched about it's solution and what caused it. I came to know a Well known Smartphone Repair Shop which fixes this issues quite cheaply 2000 Taka or (20$). What they does is to Re-Apply CPU Paste which connects the cpu's small pins to the motherboard (It's called CPU REBALLING). By taking the cpu out of the motherboard by heat and put it back with CPU new paste to it's location. My phone got fixed easily in about 2 hours my Camera and Speaker are working now. It's 6 months now! So, I asked him what's the problem behind this?! He said that Redmi and POCO devices which are (Indian Variant) is faulty by manufacturing . No any other region variant have this problems as he told me. They used low quality CPU Paste in the soldering process. When the phone updates during the update process in the power off time the CPU processes the most that time the devices sometimes gets hot and the thermals couldn't control it during the update session. So, due to this the CPU's soldering paste gets melted and unbond and it cuts the connection pins and we get Camera, Speaker, Touch or Completely dead. I don't know how much true this reason for dead is but it's what they told me, by the way they fixes all problems regarding this. I also seen a YouTube Video about it and they also said this is the reason behind the dead issues. Devices like Poco X2, X3, X3 Pro, M3, Redmi Note 10 Pro/Max etc are the victims of it. So, when you update your phone try to have it in normal temperature and remove the phone cover and switch on the Fan/AC. That way the phone can be safe during and after update. CPU REBALLING is quite hard process and a possibility of of motherboard completely dead but if you go to a experienced shop then they can fix this easily. One more thing if you are from outside of India then try to buy only Global or EU region phones of Xiaomi or POCO!
