The market is likely to open flat with a slight negative bias taking cues from global markets.

GLOBAL MARKET
Stocks in Asia traded mixed as global markets prepared for a wave of central bank decisions, with investors weighing the resilience of the economy against the possibility of further rate hikes. U.S. stocks ended mixed on Friday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average rising marginally to notch its 10th straight day of advances, its longest rally in almost six years. Oil prices eased on Monday as traders await more rate hike cues from U.S. and European central banks, with tightening supply and hopes for Chinese stimulus underpinning Brent at $80 a barrel.

RESULT
Tata Steel, HDFC Asset Management Company, SRF, IDBI Bank, BASF India, Canara Bank, Jammu and Kashmir Bank, Mahindra Logistics, PNB Housing Finance, Tamilnad Mercantile Bank, Thangamayil Jewellery and TVS Motor are among the companies that will announce their earnings for the June 2023 quarter during the day.

As per provisional figures, Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs)/ Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) sold shares worth net Rs.1998.77 crore and Domestic institutional investors bought shares worth net Rs.1290.73 Crore on 21st July 2023.
