Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev commented on the increase of U.S. military aid to Ukraine:
"The U.S. House of Representatives approved a $40 billion aid package for Ukraine. Biden asked for less, but from the generosity they threw in a couple of billion more. The money is huge, and there will be many people in the U.S. military-industrial complex eager to divide it. Not to mention the banal thieves on both sides of the ocean, as I had a chance to mention here recently.
It is obvious that the "help" on such an unprecedented scale is not due to our love for Ukraine or even support for our own economy. Its purpose is to continue the proxy war against Russia, the desire to inflict a heavy defeat on our country, to limit its economic development and political influence in the world.
