2021-04-03 08:30:46 11) हरिद्वार में औपचारिक रूप से कुंभ मेला उत्तराखंड सहित विभिन्न राज्यों में कोविद -19 के बढ़ते मामलों के बीच आने वाले भक्तों पर कई प्रतिबंधों के साथ औपचारिक रूप से शुरू हुआ।

हरिद्वार में 12 वर्षों में एक बार गंगा के तट पर आयोजित भव्य धार्मिक मण्डली के इतिहास में यह पहली बार हुआ है कि महामारी के कारण इसकी अवधि घटकर केवल एक महीने रह गई है। सामान्य परिस्थितियों में, कुंभ लगभग चार महीने तक आयोजित किया जाता है। इसका अंतिम संस्करण 2010 में 14 जनवरी से 28 अप्रैल तक हरिद्वार में आयोजित किया गया था।

12) केंद्र सरकार ने कारगिल ज़ांस्कर सड़क के उन्नयन के लिए 780 करोड़ रुपये की परियोजना को मंजूरी दी है।
ईपीसी मोड के तहत 2 लेन कारगिल ज़ांस्कर एनएच 301 सड़क स्वीकृत है।
जांस्कर- केंद्र द्वारा 2017 में कारगिल सड़क को राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग घोषित किया गया था। ज़ांस्कर घाटी की यह सड़क, कारू लद्दाख की सांकू घाटी, सुरू घाटी, राजमार्ग से भी जुड़ती है। सड़क लद्दाख के सुदूर क्षेत्र के आर्थिक विकास की कुंजी होगी।

13) 2020-21 में Centre की फ्लैगशिप रूरल हाउसिंग स्कीम के तहत मंजूर 6% से भी कम घर इस साल अब तक पूरे हुए हैं, जिसमें COVID-19 स्टॉलिंग प्रोग्रेस है।

“हाउसिंग फॉर ऑल” के अपने लक्ष्य को प्राप्त करने के लिए एक साल से अधिक के साथ, प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना-ग्रामीण ने अपने निर्माण लक्ष्य का केवल 55% पूरा किया है, हालांकि लगभग 85% लाभार्थियों के लिए धन स्वीकृत किया गया है।

16)लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल मनजिंदर सिंह ने स्टाफ, मुख्यालय, पश्चिमी कमान के प्रमुख के रूप में पदभार संभाला और कमांड मुख्यालय में "वीर स्मृति" युद्ध स्मारक पर शहीदों को श्रद्धांजलि दी।

जनरल मनजिंदर सिंह सैनिक स्कूल कपूरथला, राष्ट्रीय रक्षा अकादमी और भारतीय सैन्य अकादमी के पूर्व छात्र हैं और उन्हें 20 दिसंबर 1986 को 19 MADRAS रेजिमेंट में कमीशन दिया गया था।

1) मार्च 2021 के लिए वस्तु और सेवा कर (जीएसटी) राजस्व संग्रह ने लगभग 1.24 लाख करोड़ को छू लिया है।

मार्च 2021 के जीएसटी राजस्व संग्रह ने उच्चतम-संग्रह के साथ एक नया रिकॉर्ड बनाया है।
कर संग्रह अंतिम दौर में निर्धारित दिसंबर 2020 के रिकॉर्ड से अधिक है, जिसमें 11.6 प्रतिशत की अप्रत्याशित वृद्धि देखी गई।

वस्तु एवं सेवा कर (GST) :-
जीएसटी को भारतीय संविधान के अनुच्छेद 279 के तहत लागू किया गया है।

भारत बंगाल की खाड़ी में अपने क्वाड साझेदारों - ऑस्ट्रेलिया, जापान और संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका में शामिल हो जाएगा।

यह पहला फ्रांसीसी नौसेना अभ्यास है जो भारतीय नौसेना का एक हिस्सा होगा। अभ्यास को ला पेरोज़ नाम दिया गया है।

6) पर्वतारोही रोहताश खैलेरी और अनु यादव ने अफ्रीका महाद्वीप की सबसे ऊंची चोटी किलिमंजारो पर 24 घंटे के लिए रिकॉर्ड बनाया।

7) गुजरात विधानसभा ने एक संशोधन विधेयक पारित किया जिसमें दस साल तक की जेल की सजा और विवाह द्वारा धोखाधड़ी या जबरन धर्म परिवर्तन के लिए अधिकतम 5 लाख रुपये का जुर्माना शामिल है।

इस विधेयक में 2003 के एक कानून में संशोधन किया गया है जो धार्मिक रूपांतरण को जबरदस्ती या खरीद के माध्यम से दंडित करता है।

गुजरात धर्म की स्वतंत्रता (संशोधन) विधेयक, 2021 में "धार्मिक परिवर्तन के उद्देश्य से महिलाओं को शादी का लालच दिया जाता है" पर अंकुश लगाने की मांग की गई।

8) WEF की ग्लोबल जेंडर गैप रिपोर्ट 2021 में भारत 28 स्थान पर गिर गया है और वह अब 156 देशों में 140 वें स्थान पर है।

डब्ल्यूईएफ द्वारा जारी रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, भारत अब पड़ोसी देशों बांग्लादेश, नेपाल, भूटान, श्रीलंका और म्यांमार को पीछे छोड़ते हुए दक्षिण एशिया में सबसे खराब प्रदर्शन करने वालों में से एक है।

2021-04-03 08:25:18 11) The Kumbh Mela formally began in Haridwar with several restrictions imposed on devotees coming to attend the event amid rising cases of Covid-19 in various states including Uttarakhand.
It is for the first time in the history of the grand religious congregation held on the banks of the Ganga in Haridwar once in 12 years that its duration has been curtailed to just one month due to the pandemic. In normal circumstances, Kumbh is held for nearly four months. Its last edition was held in Haridwar from January 14 to April 28 in 2010.

12) Union Government has approved a 780 Crore rupees project for upgradation of Kargil Zanskar road.
The 2 lane Kargil Zanskar NH 301 road is sanctioned under EPC mode.
Zanskar- Kargil road was declared National Highway in 2017 by the Centre. This road from Zanskar valley, also connects Suru valley, Sankoo valley of Kargil Ladakh with the Highway. The road will be a key for economic development of the remote region of Ladakh.

13) Less than 6% of houses sanctioned under the Centre’s flagship rural housing scheme in 2020-21 have reached completion so far this year, with COVID-19 stalling progress.

With a little over a year to go to achieve its goal of “Housing for All”, the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin has only completed 55% of its construction target, although money has been sanctioned for almost 85% of beneficiaries.

14) US President Joe Biden allowed the ban notification issued by his predecessor Donald Trump to expire as its validity lapsed .

This is being considered a big relief for thousands of Indian IT professionals.
Former US President Donald Trump had issued a proclamation in June last year suspending entry to the US of applicants for several temporary or non-immigrant visa categories, including H-1B.

16)Lieutenant general Manjinder Singh took over as the chief of staff, headquarters, Western Command and paid homage to the martyrs at ‘Veer Smriti’ war memorial at the command headquarters.

General Manjinder Singh is an alumnus of Sainik School Kapurthala, National Defence Academy and the Indian Military Academy and was commissioned into 19 MADRAS Regiment on 20 December 1986.

17) Bihar is set to become the country's first state to have two green energy efficient towns in Rajgir and Bodh Gaya. The towns will start getting solar energy through the first of its kind renewable energy project from 2023.

4) India will be joining a French naval exercise in the Bay of Bengal from April 5 to 7.

7) The Gujarat Assembly passed an amendment bill which provides for a prison sentence of upto ten years and a maximum fine of Rs 5 lakh for fraudulent or forcible conversion by marriage.

The bill amended a 2003 law which penalises religious conversion through coercion or allurement.
Gujarat Freedom of Religion (Amendment) Bill, 2021 sought to curtail "emerging trend in which women are lured to marriage for the purpose of religious conversion".

8) India has fallen 28 places in the WEF's Global Gender Gap Report 2021 and is now ranked 140 among 156 countries.
According to the report released by the WEF, India is now one of the worst performers in South Asia, trailing behind neighbours Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Myanmar.
