3) Maharashtra government declared an area at Amboli in Western ghats in Sindhudurg district, where a rare freshwater fish species was discovered, as a biodiversity heritage site.
4) Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has announced that it has become the first Central Government-funded technical institute to reduce its carbon footprint by more than 50 percent from April 1, 2021.
IIT Delhi claimed that it was made possible by its recent bilateral power purchase agreement with a hydropower generator in the state of Himachal Pradesh for sourcing 2 MW green energy for its power demands.

5) Russia has registered the world’s first vaccine against COVID-19 for animals, the country’s agriculture safety watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor.

7) Krsnaa Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd has begun preparations for an initial public offering (IPO) that will see the Pune-based diagnostics chain raise as much as ₹1,200 crore.
The company started work on its IPO last month. They have appointed four investment banks—JM Financial, IIFL, DAM Capital and Equirus to work on the IPO.
8) The virtual meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Bay of Bengal Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) grouping finalised a major Connectivity master plan for the Bay of Bengal region.
The seven-member regional grouping namely India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Myanmar will take up the Master plan for transport connectivity for adoption in the next summit of the organisation to be hosted by Sri Lanka in a few months from now.

10) Businesses with turnover of more than Rs 5 crore will have to furnish six-digit HSN or tariff code on the invoices issued for supplies of taxable goods and services from April 1, the finance ministry.
Those with turnover of up to Rs 5 crore in the preceding financial year would be required to mandatorily furnish four-digit HSN code on B2B invoices.
