As part of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla rail link project (USBRL), Indian Railways is constructing a bridge over the Chenab river. The Chenab bridge is being made at a height of 359 metres above the river bed - making it the highest railway bridge in the world.

22) India has launched the “Real-time Vessel Tracking System” in order to help the seafarers and fishermen as and when they need. This system has been named as “Sagar-Manthan: Mercantile Marine Domain Awareness Centre (MMDAC)”.
The system was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Maritime India Summit-2021.

26) Central government launched National Urban Digital Mission' to create a digital infrastructure for cities in the country.
The move will institutionalise a citizen-centric and ecosystem-driven approach to urban governance and service delivery in cities by 2022, and across all cities and towns by 2024.

28) The frogs, belonging to the Old World tree frog family Rhacophoridae, were discovered by researchers from the University of Delhi and Kerala Forest Research Institute and the University of Minnesota as part of a long comprehensive study on the Shrub frogs (genus Raorchestes) of the Western Ghats.
29) Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir won the maximum number of medals in the second edition of the Khelo India Winter national Games that just concluded at Gulmarg, in J&K. They won 11 gold, 18 silver and 5 bronze to finish with a tally of 34 medals.

30) To boost development along the international borders, the Arunachal Pradesh government has decided to develop three model villages along the Indo-Tibet border as a pilot project with an allocation of Rs 30 crore.
