2) Odisha Government introduced the "Swayam Scheme" for Youth Empowerment.
➨ The 'Swayam' scheme aims to empower the youth of Odisha by providing interest-free loans of up to Rs 1 lakh to young entrepreneurs, fostering self-employment opportunities.

3) The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) introduced the Surrogacy (Regulation) Amendment Rules, 2024.
➨Previously, surrogacy required both gametes to be from the intending couple, prohibiting the use of donor gametes.
➨ The recent amendment introduces flexibility, allowing one donor gamete under specific circumstances.
