1) The President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu inaugurated the First Global Symposium on Farmers’ Rights in New Delhi.
➨This Symposium is organised by the Secretariat of the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (International Treaty) of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Rome.
2) Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Global Biofuel Alliance during the G20 Summit and invited world leaders to join.
➨ The alliance aims to accelerate the energy transition by promoting the use of sustainable biofuels, similar to the International Solar Alliance.

12) The World's Tallest Nataraja statue has been installed at Bharat Mandapam, the venue of the G20 summit in Delhi.
➨ The 28-foot-tall statue weighing 20 tonnes was made in a record time of seven months by sculptor Radhakrishnan Sthapathy and his team at Swamimalai in Thanjavur District of Tamil Nadu.
