Japanese Banks Adopts #Ripple Based MoneyTap #Ripple-based payment system MoneyTap continues growing in Japan. Japanese financial services conglomerate SBI Holdings, has added support of its mobile MoneyTap application to three local banks, including Yamaguchi Bank, Momiji Bank and Kitakyushu Bank.
The MoneyTap integration enables the Japanese regional banks to offer a peer-to-peer remittance service to their customers through a mobile application.
SBI has emerged as a major partner of #Ripple, supporting the company amid its ongoing legal battle with financial regulators in the United States.

Tether #USDT Dominates Stablecoin MarketTether (#USDT) has emerged as a clear winner amid the ongoing banking crisis and crypto crackdown in the U.S. and is now eyeing new all-time highs.
The U.S dollar-pegged stablecoin's valuation reached nearly $81 billion, just 1.5% below its record high of $82.29 billion a year ago. It has grown about 20% year-to-date (YTD).
