Liver transplantation is undoubtedly one of the most successful innovations in the medical field over the last 50 years. Although it took 40 years for India to reap the benefits of this innovation, the current rate of growth of liver transplantation in the country is a clear testimonial to the success of this procedure in India. The aim of this Lecture is to create a deeper knowledge about this amongst the medical professionals and UG, PG students.
In this regard, Department of Anatomy, Grant Govt. Medical College, Mumbai is organizing a webinar on 'Surgical Anatomy of Liver' on 23rd January 2021, at 12 noon.
The guest speaker for this seminar is, Dr.Sunil Shenvi, is a consultant HPB and Multi-organ transplant Surgeon, BGS Gleneagles Global Hospital, Bangalore. Dr. Shenvi is a dedicated medical researcher and spends the majority of his time finding ways to advance treatment options and patient education.
