Samsung has introduced a new memory standard - UFS 4.0
UFS 4.0 will replace UFS 3.1, doubling its performance. Bandwidth increased to 23.2 Gb/s, read speed - up to 4200 MB/s, and write-up to 2800 MB/s.
Energy efficiency has also improved, with a 46% reduction in energy consumption while reading.
Mass production of UFS 4.0 will start in the third quarter of 2022.
