2021-04-16 19:13:17 Got many questions about CIBIL Score and Education Loans for SBI recruitment so let me clarify.
To get into SBI you need to have a good CIBIL score.
Taking education loan is not a crime but timely repayment is important.
At time of document verification SBI will check your CIBIL score (in fact you need to present this document during doc verification itself) and if it is above 650 then usually its not an issue. Even above 600 it is still fine (some centres have some other rules) and above 700 is excellent. So yes these things are to be noted. All education loans must be paid off in full on time.
Defaulters are not permitted to join the bank so if there is some loan that's pending please go and clear it asap.
After you clear a loan you can get a credit card or any small personal loan and make timely repayment for 5-6 months your CIBIL score will be corrected.
