2) The India-US joint military exercise "Yudh Abhyas 20" commenced in Mahajan Field Firing Range of Bikaner district in Rajasthan.
This is the 16th edition of annual bilateral joint exercise of both the armies. It will continue till the 21st of this month.
The previous version of the joint exercise was held at Seattle in the United States.

3) India's flamboyant wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant on Monday won the ICC's inaugural Player of the Month award for his superlative performances in the two Tests against Australia in January.

4) Tennis legend Akhtar Ali, a father figure in Indian tennis, passed away following prolonged illness.
Akhtar was 81 and is survived by his son, current India Davis Cup coach Zeeshan Ali, and two daughters.

5) Denmark defeated Sweden 26–24 to win the title of the World Handball World Championships 2021.
Denmark will now enter the Tokyo Olympics as champions.

6) The 14th International Children’s Film Festival of Bangladesh (ICFFB) came to an end in Dhaka. A total of 12 awards were presented to the winners at the concluding ceremony.
