सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्रालय तथा रक्षा अनुसंधान एंव विकास संगठन (डीआरडीओ) ने प्राकृतिक आपदा प्रबंधन के क्षेत्र में सहयोग के लिए एक सहमति पत्र पर हस्ताओक्षर किए हैं. समझौते के मुताबिक, डीआरडीओ और सड़क परिवहन एवं राजमार्ग मंत्रालय भू-खतरा प्रबंधन से संबंधित पारस्परिक लाभ के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में सहयोग करेंगे. डीआरडीओ भारत की रक्षा से जुड़े अनुसंधान कार्यों के लिये देश की अग्रणी संस्था है. यह संगठन भारतीय रक्षा मंत्रालय की एक आनुषांगिक ईकाई के रूप में काम करता है।
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways and the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) have signed an MoU for cooperation in the field of natural disaster management. According to the agreement, the DRDO and the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways will cooperate in various areas of mutual benefit related to land hazard management. DRDO is the country's leading organization for research related to India's defense. This organization works as a subsidiary unit of the Indian Ministry of Defense.
