अमृतसर की सन्धि
अमृतसर की सन्धि 25 अप्रैल, 1809 ई. को रणजीत सिंह और ईस्ट इंडिया कम्पनी के बीच हुई। उस समय लॉर्ड मिण्टो प्रथम, भारत का गवर्नर-जनरल था।
इस सन्धि के द्वारा सतलज पार की पंजाब की रियासतें अंग्रेज़ों के संरक्षण में आ गईं और सतलज के पश्चिम में पंजाब राज्य का शासक रणजीत सिंह को मान लिया गया।
The treaty of Amritsar was signed between Ranjit Singh and the East India Company on April 25, 1809 AD. At that time Lord Minto I was the Governor-General of India.
Through this treaty, the princely states of Punjab across the Sutlej came under the patronage of the British and Ranjit Singh, the ruler of the Punjab state to the west of the Sutlej, was accepted.
