कभी "ग्रेफाइट ऑक्साइड" (graphite oxide) और "ग्रैफ़ीन" (graphene) का नाम सुना है?
"ग्रेफाइट ऑक्साइड" और "ग्रैफ़ीन" को ब्रिटेन की यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ मैनचेस्टर के दो वैज्ञानिकों ने विकसित किया था जिसके लिए उन्हें 2004 का फ़िज़िक्स का नोबेल पुरस्कार भी मिला था।
ये ग्रेफाइट से प्राप्त किए गए झिल्ली-रूपी ऐसे तत्व हैं जिनकी मोटाई एक परमाणु की मोटाई से अधिक नहीं है।
"ग्रेफाइट ऑक्साइड" और "ग्रैफ़ीन" में आश्चर्यजनक मैग्नेटिक (चुम्बकीय) गुण हैं जिसका इस्तेमाल बाहर से अप्लाई (apply) की गई इलेक्ट्रो-मैग्नेटिक फ्रीकुऐंसी (EMF) के साथ किया जा सकता है मानव शरीर को control (नियंत्रित) और manipulate करने के लिए।
