7) कैबिनेट ने 1 जुलाई से प्रभावी केंद्र सरकार के कर्मचारियों और पेंशनभोगियों के लिए महंगाई भत्ते (डीए) और महंगाई राहत (डीआर) में 11 प्रतिशत की बढ़ोतरी को मंजूरी दी।
➨ इसके साथ ही डीए की नई दर 17 फीसदी से बढ़कर 28 फीसदी हो जाएगी. देश में महामारी की चपेट में आने के कारण पिछले साल डीए और डीआर जमे हुए थे।

8) भारत 2026 में विश्व बैडमिंटन चैंपियनशिप की मेजबानी करेगा। भारत को 2023 में सुदीरमन कप का आयोजन करना था, लेकिन बैडमिंटन वर्ल्ड फेडरेशन ने चीन को विश्व मिश्रित टीम चैंपियनशिप की मेजबानी के अधिकार देने का फैसला किया।
➨यह केवल दूसरी बार होगा जब भारत विश्व चैंपियनशिप की मेजबानी करेगा, हैदराबाद ने 2009 में प्रतिष्ठित आयोजन की मेजबानी की थी।
