This picture brings back the sad memories to all of us.
Dhoni,the great finisher. He learned and mastered the ‘art of finishing’ during 2007-2019. Still he couldn’t finish the match when it mattered the most. Dhoni was one of the fastest runner in team India back then. But it was not enough that day. It was a bad day. May be, but the fact is even the greatest of them all couldn’t do it. Because sometimes, even the greatest finisher is not enough. Even the greatest don’t get to finish the things sometimes. Sometimes it just doesn’t happen!!
Let it go. Don’t make it a wound. Free yourself from the disturbed past. History don’t decide your present (it might influence)
Move on. Figure out what to do now? My batchmate and a very good friend of mine, Raj Krishna IPS once told me,
“Kaptaan, life is not about having great things, but doing great in the things you have”.
You have your entire life in front of you,
Don’t let your past ruin the great things yet to come.
