Stock Market Update: India VIX Trends During Election Times

Hello everyone! Let’s talk about the India VIX, which measures how much the stock market might swing in the near future.

Usually, right before election results, the India VIX is high because people are unsure about what will happen. Here's what it looked like before:

April 2009: India VIX was at 46
April 2014: India VIX was at 33
April 2019: India VIX was at 22

But this year, in April 2024, it’s only at 10. This is very low compared to before, even though election results are coming soon in June.
