Bhima (Chandrabhaga) River It
originates near
Bhimashankar Temple in the Bhimashankar hills ,Western Ghats, known as Sahyadri, in Pune District,
Maharashtra.
It flows southeast through
Maharashtra,
Karnataka, and Telangana states, before
entering the Krishna River in Telangana.

Left -
Ghod, Sina, Kahini
Right -
Bhama, Indrayani, Mula-mutha, Nira.
The river is
also referred to as
Chandrabhaga River, especially
at Pandharpur, Maharashtra, as it resembles the shape of the Moon.
