Hello Friends.....Our Dear friend Devanand Suresh Telgote (2017 B.Tech student of IIT Bombay and twice passed UPSC mains examination and eligible for UPSC interview which is scheduled on 11th August. He was infected with Covid19 while preparing for interview in Delhi in April. He was treated at a private hospital in Akola from April 28 to May 14 but his condition did not improve and he was shifted from Akola to KIMS Hospital in Hyderabad by air ambulance. Treatment was given to him from May 15 to June 13 for his own lungs to be treated with ECMO procedure. Doctors at KIMS Hospital told Devanand's family that he would have to undergo a lungs transplant as he was on a 100% ventilator due to a sudden cardiac arrest and lung failure and lung transplant is the only available option for us. So it would now cost around Rs 1 crore including post transplant expenses. All funds raised on May 14 last month have so far been spent on Devanand's treatment. Devanand's Hospital spending is around Rs 2 lakh every day. Therefore, it is humble request of Devanand's family and all friends to contribute and spread the message. Every small help counts.
