World Day against Child Labour

Theme 2022 : “Universal Social Protection to End Child Labour”

In 2002, the International Labour Organization declared June 12 as the World Day Against Child Labour

Constitution of India in the Fundamental Rights and the DPSP prohibits child labour below the age of 14 years in any factory or mine or castle or engaged in any other hazardous employment (Article 24)

Kailash Satyarthi is an Indian social reformer who campaigned against child labour in India
