Broader Nifty is weak and made a huge gap-down today on fears of resurgence of Covid pandemic. Stay light and avoid putting fresh money in the market. A pullback rally can't be ruled out which can take Nifty to 14,550 & 14,780 in the short term. Use this rally to trim the portfolio. Bullishness will be back in the market when it closes above 15,000. Till then, the market may trade range bound with a downward bias. An interesting feature of today's trade is that, the support at 14,250 in the Nifty got tested today but  the index pulled up smartly from the day's low to close well above 14,250 at 14,359.45. On the downside, the index gets support at ~ 14,000. The pharma companies are coming back in the reckoning and, along with IT, may give a counter support to the Nifty and arrest a major fall due to weakness in Bank Nifty.
