Two Dalit men attacked and abused with casteist slurs by upper-caste Hindus, six held

The duo has been admitted to a district hospital with head injuries. Sobhal singh said his father has suffered severe injuries, and has also fractured his leg in casteist attck.

Sobhan singh’s brother Vijaysingh Solanki (17) said, “The attack started after upper-caste men took offence as my sister-in-law asked them not to throw garbage in front of our house. They also tried to burn our house down after the incident. When we left for the hospital, they threw away our vessels and disconnected our power supply.”
