GLOBAL MARKET
Asian stocks opened cautiously on Monday as U.S. earnings season gets into full swing, while a raft of Chinese data will offer insight into how the world's second-largest economy is recovering. US stocks ended Friday’s trading session all lower as the market entered its earnings season. All three major US stock indices seesawed throughout the session to close in the negative territory. The International Energy Agency (IEA) also warned that deep output cuts announced by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and other producers led by Russia - a group known as OPEC+ could exacerbate an oil supply deficit and hurt consumers.
